PART 3: Take The Humanpreneur Program
So here it is.
Here's where you work on YOU. You are the most important person in your life. Without you, you are nothing, as bizarre as that sounds. But in light of the socialist, religious, anti-selfish, counter-individual, collective climate we live in, it needs to be said.
Your main goal in life is to live as a humanpreneur, constantly increasing your value by growing mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. It is only by increasing your value, that you can attract value into your life. And only when you are of value, are you more valuable to others as well as to yourself.
Fact.
Firstly, you need to figure out what your life purpose is…
MODULE 1: Home In On Your Life Purpose & Define A Personal Mission Statement
Your life purpose is your main goal. The thing you wake up every day wanting to do because you love it so. Most people in this world know not what they want to do with their lives. They wake up every day merely going through the motions. Doing what they've been taught to do by whomever and whatever programmed them.
They see the people enjoying their lives, doing what they love, driving the cars they want, going to the places they want to go to. They see these people, and they're just an illusion to them. "That's not how it really is." Or, at best, "They're lucky." Until they spot something move through the looking glass, that is.
It all starts with a thought. It can be inspired by others, it can be prompted by others. But it all starts with a thought that YOU have that goes something like: "What? Is this it? Is this what life's all about? I don't WANT this! I love xxxx! Why can't I do that? I'm sick of this! If THEY can do xxxx, why can't I? You know what? I've had it! I love xxxx! I want to xxxx! And I'm going to whatever it takes to be able to do xxxx everyday!"
At least that's how it went for me
It's a long story. But in summer 2000 I got out of an unstable relationship with a girl, or rather she got out of it, I was a trainee manager for a convenience shop chain and I was in debt. I was alone, in every way someone can be. I screamed, "What!? Is this it?" I answered one of those dodgy lineage ads at the back of the job paper, and a guy sold me on my first network marketing company.
I saw the glimmer behind the looking glass. And I knew I could have that life. I spent the next few years finding out a LOT about myself, making some money, losing lots of money, but finding myself. I learnt what was REALLY holding me back in life and how I was to fix it. I eventually realised what my life purpose was after some journey. And for those that ask: yes, you'll know when you've found it.
My life purpose?
"To travel the world a successful entrepreneur with a laptop under my arm, guitar on my back, and a surfboard on the roof rack, living the playboy lifestyle, immersing myself in the cultures, languages, religions, beliefs, histories, philosophies, cuisines, fashions, music, art, writings, cities and beaches of the world.
I will, over the next five to ten years, cover the entire globe, soaking it all up, developing my own philosophy, spreading my message, living as a humanpreneur, inspiring and teaching others to do the same, and becoming the man whose image is cemented in my mind. I see this world and the way people are, and it angers me. I want to be the man - along with those that join me along the way - that steers it in the right direction. Toward a destination for the betterment of the human race.
I won't plug-in to the system like the rest of society; I despise the system, everything it creates, and the sheep it breeds. I want to ultimately replace the system with a much more free way of living, wresting rights and control back from power-hungry bureaucrats and into the hands of the individual. I work towards the final, complete renouncement of religion, the establishment of a laissez-faire capitalist economy, the celebrating of individuality, and, ultimately, fostering a more advanced human race, built on freedom, individualism and truth.
At thirty five to forty years old, when I settle down a wise man, with the right woman, and a beautiful family, somewhere exotic and simple, somewhere that has grabbed me on my travels, somewhere hot, on a white beach, with waves fit for surfing, with a lovely community - not too far from the city, will my life's work will truly begin, raising amazing kids to continue from where I will someday leave off."
Finally, this can be summarised in my personal mission statement, which is: "To live my life as a humanpreneur".
So your first job is to come up with a life purpose and a personal mission statement for yourself.
1) Find your life purpose. It may change as you progress through life, but it should be something you love, unashamedly.
2) Summarise it in a personal mission statement. It can be exactly the same as mine, as striving to live as a humanpreneur pretty much covers all the bases.
When you've done this, it's time to evaluate yourself. You need to know where you are, before you go move forward.
So, without further ado, it's time for you to evaluate yourself before we go any further…
MODULE 2: Initial Self-Evaluation
Before you grow, you need to know what exactly needs to be grown. So head over to the Value Scoresheet page. Look at the example one, there. Read the instructions. And then evaluate yourself HONESTLY to get your overall value.
It may take you a while to do, because it involves looking deep within yourself to fill in some big blanks on the sheet BEFORE you can then, ultimately, calculate your value. Don't do anything else until you've done that, okay? Good…
…
… Done that?
Good. Save your Value Scoresheet and read on…
MODULE 3: Acquaint Yourself With The Reference Pages
You will now get a feel for the reference pages that will assist you in building yourself. You should visit these pages regularly to soak in the wealth of information, tools and resources, there:
- Commandments Of The Humanpreneur - Here's where I lay down the commandments as they SHOULD have been;
- Thought Experiments - I provide you with some mental workouts, designed to make you think, and strengthen your mind;
- Tools & Resources - A bunch of tools, resources, charts, tables, etc, that will guide and help you on your way.
