What Makes You Who You Are?

A while ago, I wrote an article about how one defines who they are. I answered such questions as, "What does it mean to be yourself?" and "Why are people so scared of 'not being themselves?' "

First-off, all content - created by me - on this site represents my own philosophy, formed from my own experiences. My philosophy has changed over time, and will probably develop further, as you will see in its showcasing on this site. The philosophy on this site (at least in the beginning) is NOT of a man who has reached his goal; rather, it is of a man who is striving toward it. I may struggle for clarity in some of my work, as I try and capture the thoughts whizzing through my head. My early writings may seem garbled. There may be flaws in my early arguments. But I will improve with growth. I speak the truth, and it may be right or wrong to you - that's your choice. I believe everyone to be selfish - they just don't honour, understand or acknowledge it. I feel that everyone is different, and I respect that, but I don't respect those that disrespect and lie to themselves by believeing in - and celebrating - the invisible. I'm politically incorrect, I will use colourful language and talk about 'sensitive' issues, all of which will seem 'controversial' by most people's standards. If you take offence, again, that is your choice; I personally don't subscribe to victimhood. Just realise that if you DO choose to take offence, you're admitting that you're not strong enough to see another point of view. And that could be stopping your life's progression... I employ tough love in my philosophy. Tough. Love. I'm not looking to just piss people off. On the contrary, my aim here is to help people (those that are OPEN to help) to stop prostituting their power away living life as an outside-blaming victim, and to ultimately grow a backbone, becoming the humans that they were born to become, that this world desperately needs, and not the opposite - currently encouraged - bred by the statists & mystics (fed by the strong) - weak, needy, and of no use to the human race. Everyone has spirit and power inside of them that they can harness to live their outrageous, sexy, selfish dreams and so ultimately leave this planet and the human race better than they found them. I'm waking people up from their energy-sucking existence. It's time for a change. Time for us all. This site forms the first step in that mission of promoting 'conscious living'. I'm looking for like-minded, selfish people to join me in my journey - people with nobility, energy, integrity, respect, creativity, passion and balls. Some may be further down the line than I, that I could learn from. Remember: selfishness is a good thing.
